nokycswap.me publishes a measured directory of no-KYC exchanges and privacy services

Press release · 2026-10-13 · by Milan Voss, lead reviewer · for immediate release

nokycswap.me is an independent directory of services you can use without identity checks — crypto exchanges, swap aggregators, peer-to-peer markets, VPNs, hosting, SIM and eSIM, and gift cards — that rates them on what it measures rather than on what they claim. It checks every listed service around the clock over the open internet and over Tor, collects live exchange quotes every minute, quotes the KYC clauses of each service's terms word for word, and records incidents and user losses with a source for each. It takes no affiliate commissions, and paid placements never change a score or an order.

What is nokycswap.me?

It is a watcher, not an exchange: it never holds funds and never executes a swap. A service enters the catalog after 30 days of monitoring. Its review shows what the service asks for at sign-up and when it may ask for identity later, who holds the coins during a swap, how often it was reachable, which incidents are on record, and the source and date of every fact.

How is it different from other no-KYC lists?

Most lists repeat what a service says about itself. nokycswap.me adds evidence that anyone can check: an uptime record from two vantage points, a quoted clause instead of a paraphrase, an incident only with a dated source, and a score from an open methodology (version 1.6). When a service's terms change, the weekly check flags it; when a change touches KYC or account freezes, it raises an alert for review.

“A no-KYC label is a claim. We would rather show you the clause, the uptime and the incident record, and let the numbers do the arguing.”

— Milan Voss, lead reviewer, nokycswap.me

How does it make money?

From fixed, marked sponsor places with a public price, paid in Monero. There are no affiliate or referral links, no commissions on swaps, and no paid changes to a review or a score. The full policy is on how we earn; prices are on advertise.

Can I use it without being tracked?

Yes. The site sets no cookies, loads no third-party trackers, works without JavaScript, and runs as a Tor onion service: http://nokycswptp6c5cgx3xaevoph4r5xl5pipld6jaesmznsldfeadaeqyqd.onion/. Page counts are kept only as daily totals with no IP address or browser string (see privacy). Monero is preferred for donations and paid places.

Is it live?

The full directory is open over Tor today. The clearnet site shows a summary and the legal, glossary and scam-registry pages while the first services finish their 30-day checks; the full clearnet catalog opens after that.

Who runs it?

Reviews are signed by Milan Voss, a pen name held by a PGP key, and by the research desk; both keys are timestamped with OpenTimestamps. Corrections with dated evidence are welcome through the contact page.
